How long do the stories we tell last? Can the average person’s stories outlive their own life time? Questions that I hope alleviate with my own actions.

The photos you see in this post are very old frames from the 80’s and 90’s that I dropped into my slide projector and shined onto my wall. These film slides are just a glimpse into the box I have sitting on top of my desk. I got these by way of various trips to thrift stores around Texas and various communications I’ve had with sellers around the country. Analog photography and archiving is something that has fascinated me for months now and I’m excited to have finally gotten around to sharing these with y’all.

I can’t help but think of the hours of stories that these photos represent. From the little research I’ve done for far, most of these were taken on the western coast of North America and some even in Maine and Niagara Falls. My passion for the hundreds of slides I’ve collected is to seek out those stories that seem to have been lost to time, mortality, or neglect. Maybe it’ll be my main focus once I graduate, but for the time being I’ll be devoting much of my time to seeking out these old world adventures and sharing them with y’all.
